British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak received 30%, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer received 30%, Mark Rutte, Dutch Prime Minister received 29%, Emmanuel Macron, French President received 29%, and Petr Fiala, Czech Prime Minister received 27%.

Yoon Seok-You, the ruler of South Korea, came in second last on the ranking with a 23% global leader approval rating, followed by Fumio Kishida, the prime minister of Japan, and Jonas Gahr Store, the prime minister of Norway, both with a 21 percent rating.

Last year, PM Modi was ranked first on the list with a 72% favorability rating in the survey from February 2022. For his “not period of war” comments made during his talk with Vladimir Putin, the Russian President over the situation in Ukraine last year, Modi received plaudits from world leaders, particularly at the United Nations General Assembly. The fact that India formally assumed the chairmanship of the powerful G20 during the Bali G20 Summit also probably contributed to PM Modi’s excellent approval ratings.
