Every Year, 10 November is marked as World Science Day for Peace and Development, globally. The day aims to raise awareness of the importance of Science in our daily life. The day was proclaimed by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2001, and under the auspices of UNESCO, World Science Day for Peace and Development was first celebrated on 10 November 2002.
