World Urdu Day is observed to honor the birth anniversary of Sir Muhammad Iqbal. He was born on November 9th, 1877. He is a well-known South Muslim writer, philosopher, and politician. His work in Urdu poetry was one of the greatest poems of the 20th century. His work in cultural as well as the political vision for the Muslims of British-ruled India was to animate the impulse for Pakistan.
World Urdu Day Celebration
Rafiq Soudagar, district president of the All India Urdu Development Organisation, attends events at Iqra Public School in Yadgir. He encourages young writers to enhance their skills in Urdu poems. He addresses the coming generation of our country to follow Iqbal, the most significant Urdu writer in the country. Additionally, Akbar Sagari, Principal of the Iqra Institution, and Urdu writers Sabir Faqruddin and Fazal Afzal also attend events related to Urdu Day. The day is celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy all over the country.
