WTCA Global Business Forum Launches in Karnataka

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar inaugurated the 54th WTCA Global Business Forum in Bengaluru, organized by the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA). Delegates from over 30 countries are attending the event, aimed at boosting Karnataka’s economy and promoting global partnerships in the state.

Minister M.B. Patil highlighted Karnataka’s goal to become a $1 trillion economy by 2032 with a growth rate of 18%. He emphasized the state’s rise in per capita income and its potential for growth, promising opportunities for all. Karnataka is also focusing on Industry 4.0 technologies and plans to become a hub for AI-powered products.

Patil announced multiple financial incentives under the industrial policy 2020-2025 to attract investors. Additionally, a new clean mobility policy is in the works to position Karnataka as a leading hub for electric vehicle manufacturing. Deputy CM Shivakumar stressed the state’s role in India’s progress and invited global partners to explore Bengaluru’s potential and collaborate for mutual growth and development.
