Rapper, music producer, singer Yo Yo Honey Singh, who has created a ruckus in Bollywood with his blazing music, is celebrating his 39th birthday today. Honey Singh was born on March 15, 1983, in Hoshiarpur, Punjab in a Sikh family. Yo Yo Honey Singh’s real name is Hirdesh Singh. Honey Singh studied music at Trinity School in the UK and later he moved to Delhi with his family. Honey Singh started his career as a session and recording artist in 2004 and soon became a Bhangra musician.
Let us tell you, he has been deeply involved in controversies and one of his famous controversies happened when he sang an obscene song, after the 2012 Delhi gang-rape case, due to which a report was filed against Honey Singh and the matter reached the High Court.
He made his singing debut in Bollywood in the film ‘Shakal Pe Mat Jaa’. He started his acting career with the Punjabi film “Mirza”. He had only a cameo appearance in the film but for this, he received the PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Male Debut. He made his acting debut in Bollywood films with the film ‘The Xpose’ but this film could not do much at the box office.
