YourFellowArab Releases A Trailer Of His Kidnapping In Haiti

Popular Twitch streamer Addison Maalouf, famously known as YourFellowArab, is trending on the internet after he released a three-minute-long trailer showcasing the 17 days he spent in Haiti after being kidnapped by the 400 Mawozo gang.

Since the time he entered the country, he has been a part of national headlines. The reason behind his visit was to interview the leader of the gang.

The country has been in the news for oil turmoil due to rival gangs, leading to the potential for civil war.

The Prime Minister of the country has stepped down from his role while its borders have also been closed.

Haiti Kidnapping of YourFellowArab Captured in Newly Released Trailer

Back in March, it was reported that the streamer YourFellowArab had been kidnapped by Haiti’s 400 Mawozo gang. They allegedly demanded a $600,000 ransom for his release. The news spread like wildfire, sparking concern over his well-being.

Now, after 17 days, he has been released, stating he was “kidnapped purely for the color of my skin” and kept “in the middle of a Haitian desert, 60 minutes away from any civilization, in a concrete shack surrounded by barbed wire.”

Recently, on 8 April, the trailer was released, featuring him from the time he was taken into custody, living in the not-so-pleasing environment, to being released.

In the video, he can be seen imprisoned in a concrete building surrounded by dogs. The compound is far away from the city, in an area named ‘Croix des Bouquets.’

According to Arab, he was taken into a jungle by “corrupt” UN employees and border guards to interview Jimmy ‘Barbecue’ Cherizier, one of Haiti’s most dangerous gang leaders. Currently, he controls Port-au-Prince. Jimmy was the one who demanded the resignation of the country’s president.
