Zaiqa-E-Dilli: Where Old Delhi's culinary traditions get 'chatpata tadka' of luxury

Zaiqa-E-Dilli brings the unique flavors of Old Delhi to diners at the Infinity restaurant in Crowne Plaza Mayur Vihar-Noida. From paranthas to biryani, the festival offers a luxurious dining experience with a taste of the bustling streets of Old Delhi, until February 29.

Executive chef Roushan Sharma handpicked khansamas from Purani Dilli to recreate the complex flavors and fragrances of the traditional dishes. The festival aims to capture the atmospherics of Old Delhi, with an ambience reminiscent of the vibrant ‘galiyaans’ and traditional street food.

The festival offers a rotating menu of culinary masterpieces, from traditional beverages to iconic street delicacies such as Fruit Kulle and mouth-watering main courses like Mutton Nalli Nihari and Chicken Changezi. The experience is enhanced with bone-china plates for elegant dishes and steel plates for authentic street food.

The restaurant is divided into two parts: the ‘Haveli Courtyard’ dining and the bustling street food court called ‘Nukkad’, both capturing the essence of Old Delhi. The festival’s theme, appropriately, is ‘Dil Dehli Degh Dastarkhwan’.

Zaiqa-E-Dilli also offers a variety of traditional sweets, from warm and comforting Gulab Jamun to the unique Daulat Ki Chaat. The festival aims to transport diners to the vibrant streets and narrow bylanes of Old Delhi through its authentic flavors and ambience.
