A woman in Bengaluru alleged in a video that the Zomato delivery boy attacked her. A day after the video went viral, the delivery boy has now accused the woman. Denying the allegations leveled against him, the delivery boy says that the woman attacked him and he hit his nose with his ring.

The delivery boy is named Kamaraj. Kamaraj told The News Minute that he had apologized to the woman for the delay in the order, but the woman was talking to Badami. Kamaraj told the publication,

I gave them food and was hoping that she would pay me. I also apologized to her for the delay in delivery, but she was talking to the abusive. She asked me why I was late, I apologized to her and said that the traffic jam and work was going on, but she kept saying that the order had to be delivered in 40-50 minutes. “

Zomato Delivery Boy further told that the woman took the order and refused to give the money. He was afraid that he would not lose his money. He said that after this the woman started shouting. Kamaraj told that during this time Zomato told her that the order has been canceled on the request of the woman. Kamaraj said that he asked the woman to return the order, but he did not cooperate.

Kamaraj said that in view of the woman’s behavior, she decided to return without taking orders.

“When I was going towards the lift, they started saying the abusive language in Hindi. They threw slippers at me and started killing me. When she was killing me, I defended myself with my hands for my safety. She started removing my hand, she hurt herself with her own ring, which started bleeding. Anyone who sees his face will understand that punching does not hurt. And I don’t even wear a ring. “

Woman accused of assault

The Bengaluru-based content creator and makeup artist Hitesha Chandrani said in a video on social media on March 10 that she was talking to Zomato with customer care about her order being delayed on March 9 when the delivery boy attacked her. Hitesh said in the video that the delivery boy shouted and entered his house as well.

Reacting to this video, Zomato trusted him to provide all possible help. Zomato has also suspended the delivery boy from its platform.

After the woman’s allegations, the Bangalore Police has taken action and registered a case. The Electronic City Police has registered a case under sections of IPC. The Bangalore police arrested Kamaraj on Wednesday and released him on bail the same day.

Jaipur MP receives death threat on his email

Jaipur MP Ramcharan Bohra received a death threat on his official email, leading to his PA Arun Sharma filing a police complaint on Wednesday. The threatening email stated, “We will kill you. Delhi is still very far. Wherever we meet you on the way, we will kill you there.”
