CM Amarinder Singh said to the protesters – protest patiently, do not enter the house of the politicians

Amid the peasant movement, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Friday exhorted those trying to forcibly enter the homes of political leaders and activists. The Chief Minister said that such an act is against the spirit of Punjabiyat and it will never be accepted.

Strongly condemning such acts, the Chief Minister appealed to the protesters not to cause any inconvenience to the families of office bearers of any political party through such acts.

He said that it is an attack on the privacy of the people, which will spoil the name of the peaceful movement and spoil the purpose of the demonstration.

The Chief Minister warned that farmers should not take law in their fight.

Amarinder said, after being restrained for months and not spreading violence or chaos on Punjab as well as Delhi borders during this period, some protesting farmers are losing their patience.

The Chief Minister warned that forcible entry of political office bearers or attempts to enter the picket house could lead to dissolution of peace among people of different castes, religions, and communities etc. This is contrary to the spirit of harmony, unity of Punjab.

He said, politics has its place, but we should also keep the spirit of Punjabi alive.

Amarinder urged the protesters to express solidarity with the farmers with a sense of self-discipline.
