Bradley Cooper says cold baths help him stay focused

Hollywood Star Bradley Cooper Reveals Morning Meditation Ritual

Los Angeles, Feb 17 (IANS) Hollywood star Bradley Cooper has shared that he incorporates a morning cold plunge into his daily routine as a way to stay focused. In a piece by photographer James Nachtwey for The New York Times, Cooper discussed his unusual ritual and was captured swinging a hammer in the snow before taking a cold plunge.

Cooper revealed that he meditates in freezing temperatures every morning and made the admission as part of a piece by Nachtwey that saw him photograph A-listers doing what they loved away from film sets. The ‘A Star is Born’ actor added that the cold plunge during the shoot was much colder than he was used to, and he unfortunately didn’t have a towel or a change of clothes, but they had a good laugh about the experience.

Photojournalist Nachtwey, known for his intimate depictions of warzones, was sent by the Times to capture the personal lives of celebrities for its ‘Great Performers’ issue. His other shots for the project included Da’Vine Joy Randolph shopping for fabrics and Paul Giamatti reading in his favorite second-hand bookstore.

Cooper’s upcoming film ‘Maestro,’ in which he portrays troubled composer Leonard Bernstein, has been nominated for seven Oscars, including a best actor nomination for Cooper himself.

The 49-year-old actor’s unorthodox morning ritual and behind-the-scenes look at his life away from the film set offer insight into the unique methods that celebrities use to stay focused and grounded in their personal lives. This intimate glimpse into Cooper’s daily routine provides a new perspective on a beloved Hollywood figure and sheds light on the dedication he brings to his craft.
