Blue Star: Plot
The film Blue Star is based on political drama and sports career at the same time. The film revolves around a sub-altern environment. In Arakkonam, located in Tamil Nadu, Ranjith and Rajesh are portrayed as the captains of the cricket team.
They are on opposing teams and their rivalry grows with every match. Along with their interest, the interference of a political team in that drama also increases, which hinders their playing. The film brings out the themes of caste, religion, race, and discrimination.
Although the plot is predictable, people have appreciated the direction and the engaging narrative portrayed in the film.
The film also marks the directorial debut of S. Jayakumar and he has received a lot of positive feedback for the film. Its use of music in the background to set the right pace has also been appreciated.
