Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee recently auditioned over 6,000 actors for his upcoming film ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’, a sequel to the 2010 sleeper hit. He meticulously selected actors to fit the roles and storyline of the film, conducting in-depth research for authenticity.
According to a source, Dibakar spent hours going through images and videos of YouTubers from across India to find the perfect fit for a specific character in the film. This detailed process showcases the director’s commitment to bringing genuine and relatable characters to life on screen.
The highly anticipated sequel follows the success of the first installment, which pushed boundaries in Hindi cinema with its innovative storytelling approach. Dibakar’s previous films, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ and ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!’ were also praised and received National Film Awards.
