Chandigarh’s PGI Launches Endocrine and Breast Surgery Clinic

The Department of General Surgery at PGI Chandigarh has launched a new endocrine and breast surgery clinic, inaugurated by PGI Director Vivek Lal. The clinic will cater to patients with thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, neuroendocrine, and breast disorders.

The clinic will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays with registration timings from 12 noon to 1 p.m. In response to the increasing demand for specialized treatment in this field, the clinic will also provide services for patients with diabetic foot issues.

Head of General Surgery, Divya Dahiya, emphasized the convenience for patients by having all necessary facilities under one roof. The clinic aims to provide comprehensive and efficient treatment options by consolidating resources and expertise. This initiative is set to enhance patient care and experience.

With this new clinic, patients in Chandigarh now have access to advanced medical facilities for endocrine and breast-related diseases. The Department of General Surgery at PGI Chandigarh is taking a step forward in improving specialized healthcare services for the community.
