Haryana and Punjab excel at 3rd Sub Junior Nationals in Boxing

Haryana and Punjab dominated the opening day of the 3rd Sub Junior National Boxing Championship in Greater Noida. Six boys from Haryana and four girls from Punjab moved to the next round with impressive wins. The tournament will conclude on March 25.

In the boys’ section, Haryana’s Uday Singh, Dev, Sanchit Jayani, Ravi Sihag, Lakshay, and Naman secured victories to advance to the next round. Meanwhile, four pugilists each from Punjab, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu also progressed in the competition.

In the junior girls’ matches, Punjab’s Ek Ampreet, Anamika, Affsa, and Kulpreet showcased their skills with RSC (Referee Stops Contest) victories. Pugilists from Uttar Pradesh, Avantika, and Mehul Malik also advanced to the next round in their respective weight categories.

The tournament witnessed exciting bouts and fierce competition as young boxers showcased their talent and determination. The finals are scheduled to take place on March 25, where the top boxers will compete for the National title.
