Chandigarh, March 21 (IANS) Rishabh Pant is set to make a comeback as he leads Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024. All-rounder Axar Patel expressed his happiness on Pant’s return, mentioning how he missed their banter and fun last year. The team arrived in Chandigarh for their opening match against Punjab Kings.

Patel shared his excitement about Pant’s return after a 14-month recovery from injuries sustained in a car accident. He highlighted the camaraderie with Pant and their enjoyable interactions, stating, “I’m just looking forward to having more fun with him this season.”

Speaking about the team’s preparations, Patel commented on the positive vibes within the squad. The team had intense training sessions in Vizag ahead of their first game against Punjab Kings in IPL 2024 on March 23 at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur.
