Prices of the Aprilia Tuareg 660 unveiled prior to official release

Aprilia India is set to launch the Tuareg 660 on April 16th, with prices revealed for the three colour options – Atreides Black, Canyon Sand, and Evocative Dakar Podium. Priced at ₹18.85 lakh and ₹19.16 lakh ex-showroom, the adventure tourer will compete against Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, Triumph Tiger 900, BMW F 850 GS, and Honda XL750 Transalp.

The Aprilia Tuareg 660 will be imported to the Indian market through the CBU route, with a waiting period of around 3 months for customers after booking. The bike shares its engine with the Tuono 660 and RS660 but features a different frame – a steel tubular frame with a built-in subframe. Tuned for 80 bhp of max power at 9,250 rpm and 70 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm, the engine offers more grunt in the lower and mid-range compared to its siblings.

Offering four riding modes, with two customizable modes including one for off-road riding, the Tuareg 660 also comes with an APRC system comprising of Traction Control, Cruise Control, Engine Map, and Engine Brake. The 5-inch TFT screen provides access to all these features, along with the optional quickshifter for the 6-speed gearbox. ABS can be deactivated at both wheels or only the rear, adding to the versatility of the bike.
