Pakistan fast-bowler Ihsanullah flies to Manchester for treatment of elbow injury sustained last year. He will meet orthopedic surgeon Professor Adam Watts. PCB to cover treatment expenses and provide updates post diagnosis. Injury caused him to miss major events in 2023.

Ihsanullah, who sustained an elbow injury in April 2023, has traveled to Manchester for treatment under esteemed orthopedic surgeon, Professor Adam Watts. The PCB has collaborated with Multan Sultans to secure this appointment, covering all expenses for his treatment and rehabilitation.

The injury kept Ihsanullah out of big events like Asia Cup and Men’s ODI World Cup in 2023. Initial treatment did not help his return to the sport. Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen mentioned misdiagnosis by PCB, while PCB’s chief medical officer Dr Sohail Saleem denies any misdiagnosis. Further updates to follow post assessment by Professor Watts.
