A bank statement is a record issued by a bank which shows the net balance and the transactions that are made in an account within a specific duration. This statement give details about the cash in flow, cash out flow, amount of interest added within the duration, and the dates on which the transactions were made. However, a Bank Statement Certificate is a certificate issued by a bank that confirms that the person has an account with that bank. Moreover, the certificate may also include the present net balance. A request can be made to the bank for addition of further information.

In the United Arab Emirates, bank statements are most commonly required to be certified as true copies by the lawyers. Similarly, the bank statements that are issued in the banks outside the UAE and require attestation by the UAE mission at the country of origin are required to select UAE Embassy or Consulate Abroad for their Bank Statement Attestation. In addition to this, the Bank Statement Certificate that is issued in the banks outside the UAE and requires attestation in the UAE should select Happiness Centers in the UAE.Moreover, various agencies and typing centers can also be used for Bank Statement Attestation in UAE. This can be very convenient for the people if they do not want to do the attestation themselves. But, this option would be more expensive as compared to the others, and may also vary from one agency and typing centers to the other.
