Cadence Partners With Vidya & Child To Build A School For Underprivileged Children In Noida

Noida– Cadence Design Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd., owned by Cadence Design Systems, Inc. recently announced to collaborate with Vidya & Child to build schools for the underprivileged kids of Noida. The construction of the school will be funded by Cadence along with working closely with Vidya & Child, a non-government organization (NGO), to make sure the infrastructure will match the highest standard.

Since February of this year, the school has been fully operational and gives a proper learning environment to around 300 students from the nearby area including  Khoda Village (Noida, Uttar Pradesh). Most of the kids here are first-generation learners whose families are daily wage earners working in underserved places in the local community. The school offer basic education from nursery to 8th class, and later kids are admitted to mainstream schools in the city. Even after joining the mainstream schools, kids can continue to attend Vidya & Child School for more extra-curricular activities and educational support. 

The new school with consist of updated technological facilities such as rainwater harvesting, electricity backup through solar energy, a STEM lab and a dedicated computer lab to name a few. Cadence will also be providing laptops for the school STEM lab.
