She is always brutally honest and fun and doesn’t skip a beat to make her audience and the interviewers laugh at her witty banter.

However, this year Cardi B was asked about the designer for her dress.

Cardi couldn’t remember the name of Sensen Lii and replied that he was just some Asian guy.

This annoyed many viewers online.

Even an ex-Vogue worker commented that what Cardi B said and the way she replied was extremely racist, and someone with that influential status shouldn’t blurt out something like that.

Cardi B has been receiving a lot of criticism online for her comment.

Cardi, being an influential social media personality, did speak out and apologize to her fans.

She also mentioned that she said “Asian” because she was nervous and scared of mispronouncing his name.

Cardi explained that she didn’t forget his name; she just wanted to avoid the mistake of mispronouncing his name live.

However, Cardi did reply to the comments and said,

“I feel like the designer and my stylist worked really hard for this theme, so for you to be kind of shady because she feels offended or whatever, it just proves why you’re the former director. You’re trying to offend me, but you’re actually offending the people behind the scenes.”
