Around 23 senior leaders who are raising questions about the top leadership of the Congress and the change in the organization are gathering in Jammu and Kashmir today. In fact, senior Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Nabi Azad are on a visit to his home state of Jammu and Kashmir after his departure from Parliament. At the same time, there is a program of Ghulam Nabi Azad’s NGO. It is being told that many senior Congress leaders are reaching out to attend the function of Ghulam Nabi Azad’s Global Family NGO.

News agency ANI has quoted a senior Congress leader as saying that through this gathering, he wants to send a message to Rahul Gandhi, “We want to tell that India is one from North to South”.

Let me tell you that in the month of August last year, 23 Congress leaders including Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anand Sharma and Kapil Sibal had written a letter to Sonia demanding to be active leadership for the party and make a comprehensive organizational change.

Ghulam Nabi Azad’s program may include former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, former UP Congress President Raj Babbar, Kapil Sibal and former Union Minister Anand Sharma. It is also believed that former Union Minister of Congress Manish Tiwari and Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha can also attend this meeting.

While speaking to ANI, one of these 23 leaders has said that whatever is happening in the Congress these days is an open violation of the decision taken in the Congress Working Committee in December last year. But right now nothing is visible about the election and change in the party.
