On Monday, 11,491 new cases of the corona were reported in Delhi and 72 patients died. The infection rate has increased to 12.44 percent, from 9.43 percent a day earlier. It has the highest infection rate after 21 November, while the highest number of deaths occurred in one day after 128 days. On 5 December, there were 77 deaths in one day. A day earlier, 10,774 new cases were received. Because of this, 22,265 people have suffered from Corona in the last 2 days only. Due to this, the number of active patients has crossed 38 thousand and the recovery rate of patients has come down. At the same time, 120 people have died in two days.

According to Delhi government report, 92397 tests were done in a day and the number of active patients has increased to 380951. Till date 11355 patients of Covid-19 have lost their lives. It is a matter of some relief that 7665 patients are cured in a single day, but for many days, the number of active patients of Corona is increasing steadily as the number of patients recovering from new cases is increasing. According to the report, 736688 people have been infected with the corona so far in Delhi and out of these 6872381 people have defeated the corona virus. At the same time, the total death rate in Delhi is 1.54 percent. Out of a total of 1,2008 beds in Delhi’s Covid hospitals, 5068 beds are vacant.

The number of hotspot zones increased to 6175

There are 6940 patients in Delhi hospitals, 241 in Covid Care Center, 69 in Covid Health Center and 19354 in Home Isolation. The number of hotspot zones has increased to 6175, compared to 5705 a day earlier. In one day, 470 hotspot zones have increased. Let me tell you that in June last year, there was a very serious situation in Delhi. After this, the cases increased again in September and in November the Corona virus broke all the records. But since November, the situation in Delhi had become very good, but for the past 20 days, once again the infection rate and active patients are increasing continuously with new cases in Delhi. Things are constantly getting worse.

Only three percent of people need the ventilator

We increased 5000 beds last week and now 50 percent beds are available in hospitals. He said that not every patient needs a ventilator. Only two to three percent people need ventilators. What happens is that even if there is a patient on the ventilator bed and does not need a ventilator, it is still lodged in the ventilator bed but in reality there are very few patients on the ventilator bed. He said that there are 30 patients in Burari Hospital, which are above the ventilator bed, but in reality there is not a single patient on the ventilator.
