New figures of Corona have started to scare. Every day, records are increasing in new cases. According to the Health Ministry, 1.15 lakh new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is the biggest spike so far. On the last day, 630 people died of Covid.

Earlier, according to the Health Ministry data, 1,03,558 new cases of the corona were reported in India till the morning of April 5. Daily cases were at their peak on 16 September 2020, when 97894 cases a day were reported.

PM convened meeting

India has also surpassed Brazil and the United States in the number of daily reported corona cases and has reached the highest position in the world. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with the chief ministers of states and union territories on Thursday to discuss the situation in Corona.

The situation has become worrisome after the increase in Covid-19 cases and mortality in the country. More than 91 percent of cases are being reported in 10 states of the country. Earlier, the Prime Minister had also chaired a high-level meeting on Sunday and had given instructions to curb the corona.

Very bad located in Maharashtra

The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that seven out of the 10 districts most affected by Covid-19 are in Maharashtra and one each in Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Delhi. Maharashtra accounts for 58 percent of the total active Covid cases in the country. According to the ministry, Maharashtra accounted for 34 percent of the total deaths in the country.
