Patna, March 19 (IANS). In many other states, the Bihar government is aware of the corona in view of the rapid increase in the number of corona patients and the Holi festival. Meanwhile, all health workers’ holidays in the state have been canceled till April 5. Here, on Thursday, more than 100 corona patients have been confirmed in Bihar.

An official of the state health department said on Friday that 107 new cases were reported in the state on a single day on Thursday. After 40 days, the number of newly infected people in the state has crossed 100. The state had 58 new cases on Wednesday.

According to the department, the number of active corona patients currently stands at 405 in the state, according to the data found on Thursday. He said that the rate of de-infection from Kovid 19 in the state is 99.26 percent.

Meanwhile, the Health Department has canceled all health workers’ holidays till April 5. Health workers who are on leave have also been asked to return to work immediately.

Earlier on Wednesday, after the talks of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the Chief Ministers on the condition of corona virus, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the state government has decided to speed up the investigation. He said that it has been decided to take the number of daily tests again to 70,000.

The situation in Bihar is under control, but we must be careful. Everyone should follow the corona guide line.

Here, the department has asked the three medical colleges of North Bihar, SKMCH, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga Medical College Hospital and Medical College of Bettiah to be on alert mode.
