Earlier on Monday, PM Modi had an important meeting on the status of COVID-19 at 11:30 am.

The process of these meetings continues at a time when new figures of corona virus have been revealed in the country, many states are complaining of lack of medicines like oxygen and Remdasivir used to treat patients with COVID-19. .

According to data released on Monday morning by the Union Health Ministry, a record 273810 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in India in 24 hours. With this, the total cases of infection have crossed 1.5 million. About 25 lakh new cases have come up within the last 15 days. The number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country has also gone up to more than 19 lakhs.

After the death of 1619 people in 24 hours due to COVID-19 in India, the death toll has risen to 178769.

The total cases of corona virus in the country reached over one crore on 19 December. 107 days later, on April 5, the cases exceeded 125 million, but it took just 15 days for the infection cases to exceed 1.5 crore.
