Defence Minister to inaugurate 3-day ‘Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv’ today in Jhansi

As “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” is going on, from today, a three day ‘Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv’ is going to start in Jhansi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate it, while the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi will also launch several schemes for the nation on the final day of Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv, on 19 November.

Under these schemes, 100 new Sainik Schools Setup, NCC Border and Coastal Scheme, NCC Alumni Association and National Simulation Training Program for Cadets will be launched. Also, the foundation stone in Jhansi of Defense Corridor of Uttar Pradesh with Rs 400 Crore will be laid. Apart from these, To promote self-reliant India, PM will distribute indigenously made light combat helicopters, indigenous drones or unmanned vehicles and advanced electronic warfare suits to the armed forces.

It also includes setting up of digital kiosks at the National War Memorial to pay tribute to the martyrs. Through these kiosks, visitors will be able to pay tribute to the martyrs in a digital way.
