Former US President Donald Trump plans to deliver a message next weekend, that he is a potential nominee for the Republicans for 2024. News website Axios said this in a report citing Trump’s top aides.

The report reported that Trump’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) speech in Orlando on Sunday has been designed to show that he remains in control of the party, whether he enters the presidential election race in 2024 or not.

An advisor, who has not been named, described Trump’s speech as a “show of strength” and said the message would be “Even though I don’t have Twitter or the Oval Office, I’m still powerful.”

At the same time, quoting another adviser named Jason Miller, “Trump is effectively the Republican Party.” When you attack Donald Trump, you are attacking the roots of the Republican Party. ”

The report said that some Republicans who have shown a stance against Trump since the election have faced criticism and challenges in their home states. These include members of the Republican House who voted to impeach Trump, and senators who voted to indict Trump.

According to a survey, Trump’s hold on the Republican Party still remains. New polling from Safolk University and USA Today revealed that even if Trump forms his own party, 46 percent of his voters will support him, while 42 percent said Trump’s impeachment has strengthened his support.
