Actor Sonu Sood has always been one step ahead in helping those in need, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ‘Dabangg’ star has added to his laurels by becoming the brand ambassador of India at the Special Olympics to be held in Russia. Sonu announced the news on his Instagram account wearing the jersey and posing with the Special Olympics red ball.

He wrote, “Feeling proud today as I have been chosen as the brand ambassador for India at the Special Olympics in Russia! I am sure our champions will make us proud and I wish them all the very best! Jai Hind.”

Talking about being the brand ambassador for India at Special Olympics, Sonu Sood said, “Today is a very special day for me and I am delighted to be on this journey of inclusion with Special Olympics India. Through their sporting achievements, each Special Olympics athlete redefines the human spirit that stands up to every challenge.”

Promoting persons with intellectual disabilities, he further said, “I wish them all the best to do their best and demonstrate their abilities with confidence which in itself will send a strong message to the world that they are in the mainstream. deserve to come.”

Expressing his gratitude for being a part of Special Olympics India, the actor said, “I feel privileged to be a part of the Special Olympics India family and wish to make this platform even bigger and strike a chord with people across the country. I promise. I support SO India.”

In his role as the Brand Ambassador of Special Olympics India, Sonu Sood will lead the team of Special Olympics India athletes who will travel to Kazan to participate in the Special Olympics World Winter Games in January 2022.
