This time, on August 27, Saturday is Bhadrapada month’s new moon Bail Pola will be celebrated. The festivals of Kushagrahani Amavasya, Bail Pola 2022, Pithori Amavasya, and Shanishchari Amavasya will all be observed on this day.

Although it is observed throughout the nation, Bail Pola, the biggest festival of Maharashtra, is especially significant in the Vidarbha area of the state. In Vidarbha, Bail Pola is also known as Motha Pola, while Tanha Pola is the name of the second day. In India, which is mostly an agricultural nation, oxen are used for farming by most farmers. For this reason, all farmers praise and give thanks to the animals.

This celebration is now held in honor of bullocks (Bail Pola). Uddhav Thackeray was acknowledged and notified of his assistance on the same day by a bull first from Barshi taluka. On the day of the festival, embellishments are also added to the bulls, but the statement that Avinash Kapse from Barshi (Farmer) wrote on the backside of his bollocks is gaining attention across the state. The farmers remove the rope from their bullocks’ necks before massaging them with oil. They are then properly bathed to clean them. Oxen are often decorated with jewelry and bright clothing. The bulls are then given millet-based khichdi to eat. Everyone congregates in one location to commemorate the occasion by leading a bullock parade. On this day, homes cook unique foods like gujiya, Puran poli, etc.
