India lost 3 lakh lives due to Corona, 90 thousand deaths only in May

India has lost 3 lakh people so far in the fight against Coronavirus. On May 24, the number of deaths from covid in India crossed 3 lakh. After America, Brazil, India have become the third country where more than 3 lakh deaths have occurred due to Corona.

In India, on May 24, 2,22,315 cases of Covid and 4,454 deaths were recorded. With this, the number of active cases has fallen to 27 lakhs in India.

When the daily figure of corona virus crossed 1 lakh for the first time on 5 April 2021 in India, the number of deaths in the country from Covid was 1,65,101.

90 thousand deaths occurred in May

On May 1, 4,01,994 cases of corona were recorded in India. This was the first time that the number of figures in the country had crossed 4 lakhs in a single day. At the same time, the number of deaths from covid on May 1 was 2.11 lakh.

That is, in the last 24 days, about 90 thousand people died from covid. Out of this, 50 thousand deaths have taken place in the last about 12 days. As of 11 May, 2,49,992 lakh deaths were reported from covid in India.
