Germany airline Lufthansa has removed 103 flight attendants placed in India from service, demanding ‘job guarantee’. The company gave him the option of going on leave without pay for two years. Sources associated with the case gave information about it.

Been working for 15 years

Sources said that these workers were working on a fixed contract with the airline and some of them had been with the company for more than 15 years. A Lufthansa spokesperson said that due to the severe financial impact of the Corona virus pandemic. There was no other option but for the airline to restructure. The company cannot extend service to Delhi-based flight attendants who are on fixed-term contracts. However, the spokesperson did not say how many employees had been fired.

What to say about the company

According to the spokesperson, the services of many employees have not been affected as the company has been able to enter into separate agreements with them. The statement said Lufthansa is sad to confirm that she is not extending the services of Delhi-based flight attendants who were hired for a fixed period.
