Infinix has launched another cheap smartphone in the Smart Series. This smartphone is an upgraded model of Infinix Smart HD launched last year. The phone costs Rs 7,199 and comes in a single storage variant – 2GB RAM + 32GB. The special thing about this smartphone is its battery. It is the cheapest smartphone to come with a 6000mAh battery. However, the company also launched Smart 4 Plus last year with a 6000mAh battery, which costs more than this phone.

Talking about the budget phones of other brands that come with 6000mAh battery, Redmi 9 Power comes in 4GB RAM + 64GB, which costs Rs 10,999. At the same time, the price of Samsung’s Galaxy M30s is also in the range of 10,000. Realme C12 smartphone also comes at a starting price of Rs 8,499. Its base model has 3GB RAM + 32GB storage support.

Talking about the camera feature of the phone, a 13MP primary camera is available in its back. An AI camera is also provided with this. LED flash is also featured in the back panel of the phone. For the selfie, it has an 8MP camera which is integrated with Waterdrop Notch. Rear mounted physical fingerprint sensor has been given in the back of the phone. Additionally, it also supports the Face Unlock feature.

Infinix Smart 5 has a strong battery of 6,000mAh. The company claims that once full charge, its battery lasts for 50 days. It has 23 hours of non-stop video playback and 53 hours of talk on 4G networks. Also, it can have 155 hours of music playback and 23 hours of web surfing. Not only this, 14 hours of games can be played on this phone.

Why buy this smartphone?

64 megapixel Camera

The Infinix Smart 5 smartphone is designed specifically for entry-level users. The company is specifically trying to target those users who are shifting from feature phones to 4G smartphones. The phone has a large screen in this price range, whose screen-to-body ratio is more than 90 percent. The phone’s display can be used for user entertainment and web content. If you are fond of watching videos on big screen by spending less money then you will enjoy using it.

Apart from the display, the one thing that is best in this is its battery. The phone has a powerful battery of 6000mAh, which once charged, you can use it without charging for at least one and a half days. If you are fond of watching online video content, you can watch online video continuously for 15 to 18 hours after charging once. You can also call it a pocket entertainer. Especially in Tier 3 cities and towns where there is a problem of electricity, you can use this smartphone for a long time after full charge.

The phone supports dual 4G VoLTE SIM card. Also, it also offers modes like Screen Cast, WhatsApp Mode, Eye Care, Game Boost. Through these features, you can optimize your smartphone. Power mode has also been provided in the phone which can extend the battery life even further.

Why not buy this smartphone?

The thing we did not like in Infinix Smart 5 is that it weighs 207 grams, which is quite a lot. However, due to the large battery, the phone feels heavy. Also, after looking at the design of its rear camera, you will find that it has four cameras but it has a dual rear camera setup. The phone has a 13MP camera and an AI camera. Apart from this, fingerprint sensor and LED flash light are provided in the back. If you compare it to other smartphones available at this price, its weight and camera can disappoint you.

6000mAh battery

The camera experience has not been so good with this smartphone. Like the other phones that come at this price, the phone’s camera clicks the picture properly in daylight. However, when the light is low, you will see a big difference in the picture taken from it. With the Infinix Smart 5 camera, you can capture HD + (1080p) video. Also, in this price range, you can also do Slow Motion video recording.

Talk about its performance, so if you use the phone just for calling and entertainment, then you will not have any problem in using it. The phone has less RAM and it works on the basic entry level processor. We have not received complaints about heating in the phone. One more thing that we did not like in this is that many types of pre-installed apps come in the phone, including apps for gaming etc. Basic games such as Ludo King, Coin Master, Candy Crush etc. can be played on Infinix Smart 5.
