Yes, we are talking about Irrfan’s last film, The Song of Scorpions, which is to be released in the new year. Let me tell you that the film premiered at the 70th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland in August 2017. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​shared the film’s information on social media, stating that the film will be released in early 2021 with a panorama spotlight and 70mm talkies.

Irrfan’s film has been directed and written by Anoop Singh. Apart from Irrfan, the film stars Golshifteh Farahani, Waheeda Rehman, and Shashank Arora. The story of the film is about a girl named Noora, who is learning healing art from her grandmother. In the film, Irrfan plays the character of a camel seller, who falls in love with Noora.

This was Irrfan’s Last Film before his Death

In 2019, Irfan shot Angrezi Medium after recovering from a disease like neuroendocrine cancer. The film was released in March this year, starring Kareena Kapoor, Deepak Dobriyal, Radhika Madan. Irfan collapsed in the bathroom just two days before his death. He was later admitted to the ICU. However, he could not recover and died on April 29, 2021.
