The world fell in love with John Krasinski when they saw him as a cute employee named Jim Halpert in the hit series ‘The Office’. Plus his performance in ‘A Quiet Place’ made him a remarkable actor in Hollywood. 

Although many might not know that john actually auditioned for the role of Captain America. Only to lose it to Chris Evans. Recently he made an appearance in the Marvel movie Doctor Strange where he played the of Mr. Fantastic Reed Richards. 

Since then fans are going crazy about how Captain America would look if he is portrayed by John Krasinski. 

Shamook, a youtube channel known for using deep fake technology to create a video of putting his chosen face to an original face makes it look like that person is playing the role in reality. Recently released a video of John playing the role of Captain America.

Earlier while appearing on  “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” he told ellen what really went down when he went to audition for the role and how it was ruined by Chris Hemsworth. He said Marvel wanted to explore who else can portray the role perfectly before it went to Chris Evans. He told ellen it was “really fun” but culminated in his putting on the skin-tight Captain America suit: “I was putting the suit on, and I was halfway up not wearing any other clothes other than this.”.

He added  “right at that moment, Chris Hemsworth walked by and was like, ‘You look good, mate!’ And I was like, ‘Nope, you know what, it’s fine, we don’t have to do this. You’re going to look great in that suit,” to which Krasinski replied, “Don’t make fun of me, Hemsworth!” However, even when he rocked that iconic suit, the role was finally given to Chris Evans.
