Father dies after complaining to the police

After the girl was gang-raped, her father lodged a complaint at the police station. According to the family, following the complaint, he was threatened with dire consequences. After which the father died in a road accident under suspicious circumstances. The family said that this is not a road accident but a murder. He has been deliberately crushed by a truck. After this incident, angry villagers came down the road and blocked the highway.

After all the demonstrations and the demands of the family, the police finally registered a case of murder in this case. In the case registered in the Sajeti police station, the officer posted in Kannauj, Devendra Yadav and unknown have been named.

The police had already arrested the main accused and the son of Daroga, Deepu Yadav and his accomplice Golu in connection with this gang rape case. The search for another accused is on. For this, the police has formed several teams. Also, action has been taken against some policemen in the case.

While giving information about the incident, DIG Kanpur said, “A rape took place with a minor girl in Sajeti, in which a case was registered under 376 IPC and Poxo Act. We had five teams formed in this case and we have two accused as soon as possible Arrested, against whom strict action is being taken. The search for the third accused is going on. A detailed investigation was given to CO Ghatampur regarding the incident and subsequent accident. According to their report, the in-charge at Sajeti police station was suspended. Gaya, a departmental action order was ordered against them. Apart from this, the outpost in-charge has been suspended in Ghatampur and the Beat constable has also been suspended and departmental action has been ordered. “
