Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has announced his resignation from the post of Chief Minister amid speculations of resignations going on for the past few days. He will soon meet the Governor and submit his resignation to him.

It is noteworthy that BS Yediyurappa has completed 2 years as Chief Minister today (26 July 2021). BS Yediyurappa is expected to submit his resignation to the Governor after lunch.
Yediyurappa, who got emotional at an event, said that I am not angry, I am happy. The senior BJP leader said that I have always gone through a litmus test.
