KCET 2021: The demand for postponement of Karnataka Widespread Entrance Take a look at (KCET) 2021 is rising louder on social media platform Twitter, amid rising coronavirus instances within the state.The exam is scheduled for July 30 and 31.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) launched the admit card for the exam on July 17. Because the launch of admit card quite a few Twitter customers (supposedly exam candidates) have been requesting the KEA to postpone the exam.

Many Twitter customers have began a hashtag #PostponeKCET2021 on Twitter. The hashtag has been trending with hundreds tweets urging the authority to postpone KCET 2021.

Tagging Ashwathnarayan CN, the minister for higher education, Karnataka, a twitter user wrote, “@drashwathcn Sir, today Bangalore has 2208 cases and 75 people died till afternoon, the count will increase by the end of this day. Sir, it’s high time to consider postponement of KCET. Sir, our life is at stake, please sir. #postponekcet #postponekcet2021.”

Replying to a tweet of education minister S Suresh Kumar, a Twitter consumer wrote, “Sir pls postpone kcet, neet is in Sept what if we take a look at optimistic after cet? how can we put together for NEET. there are various droppers for neet if they’ll’t put together within the final month it’ll damage onerous work executed for years.U can’t even proceed counselling till neet is over #postponekcet2021”

In the meantime, AIDSO Karnataka additionally launched ‘All Karnataka Protest Day’ on July 17 to protest in opposition to the Authority’s determination of conducting the exam amid the pandemic.

Earlier on July 18,the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Faculties of Karnataka (COMDEK) postponed the COMEDK UGET 2021 exam that was scheduled to be held on July 18.

A KCET candidate wrote, “ComedK is written By 55Ok college students and gets postponed the place as KCET is written by virtually 2 Lakh college students and admit card gets launched appears to be like like GOVT of Karnataka Forgot numbers .”
