Keanu Reeves to voice Shadow, the antihero in ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ – New casting announcement

Hollywood’s beloved actor Keanu Reeves, known for his iconic roles in the ‘John Wick’ franchise and ‘The Matrix’, is set to voice the character of Shadow in ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’. Joining a star-studded cast including Ben Schwartz and Jim Carrey, Reeves adds his unique touch to the animated film.

According to Variety, Shadow is an antihero in the ‘Sonic’ games and often serves as an antagonist to Sonic. Reeves’ diverse acting credits, from action-packed roles to dramatic performances, make him a versatile choice for the role of Shadow in the upcoming sequel.

Directed by Jeff Fowler, ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3′ is slated to hit theatres on December 20, 2024. The film is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, Toru Nakahara, and Hitoshi Okuno, promising an exciting continuation of the popular franchise.
