LA Fitness Shooting, One Man Shot After Fight, Suspect In Search 

The incident of the LA Fitness Shooting has invaded the media headlines. One casualty has been reported. This incident took place on Thursday evening, April 11, and around 8:30 pm.

The LA Fitness shooting incident took place outside a gym in Maryland on the 9400 block of Ruby Lockhart Boulevard in Glenarden. A man was discovered in a severely wounded and injured condition. 

The Prince George’s County police reported that the man got shot six to seven times. 

An intense violence escalated following a brawl outside the LA Fitness gym. This later escalated into gunfire. As the news of this LA Fitness shooting incident spread, a huge crowd assembled at the scene. 

According to recent reports by TimesNow, police officials were at the scene and the entire shooting incident is under their investigation. 

About LA Fitness Shooting 

Regis Bryant, the Glenarden Police Chief, stated that the shooting occurred in a basketball court area. When an argument between a woman and two men escalated, a shooting occurred. 

According to Bryant, multiple people were present at the scene and witnessed the shooting. 

Reportedly, the shooter leaves the scene in a white vehicle before police officials reach the place. 

One user came to X and wrote, “Something just happened at the LA Fitness in Woodmore, and it must be horrible because there’s about 15 police cars racing into the parking lot”.

Another user commented, “Shooting somebody at Woodmore town center LA fitness is CRAZY ppl need help.”

Until now, police have not released any description of the suspect involved in the shooting incident, reported WUSA.

LA Fitness is a renowned gym located at 9450 Ruby Lockhart Boulevard in Glenarden, Maryland. Prior to this, this location was occupied by another gym chain, which got closed in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

24-Hour Fitness invaded the place before where LA Fitness is currently located. Later, the 42,154-square-foot space was re-innovated and LA Fitness gym was opened.
