Narendra Modi’s Mother Heeraben Modi Passes Away at the age of 100

Heeraben Modi, the mother of Narendra Modi, India’s current Prime Minister, passed away this morning, Friday at the age of 100 in Ahmedabad’s UN Mehta Hospital. In an emotional homage to Narendra Modi’s mother’s “glorious” life, he said on Twitter that she told him stuff that he will never forget when they met on the occasion of her 100th birthday. The PM’s tweet also stated, “Work with intelligence and live life with purity.”

Heeraben was reportedly making progress on Thursday. Due to her health, she was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday. After knowing of his mother’s medical situation, the prime minister hurried to the hospital in Ahmedabad, where he spent the next hour and a half.

According to reports, PM Modi has not postponed any of his later-day engagements and has already left for Ahmedabad. He has other construction projects lined up, including the flagging off of a Vande Bharat railway in West Bengal’s Howrah region.

For Heeraben Modi’s passing, condolences have already started to flow in. PM Modi received condolences from Rajnath Singh, the Union Defence Minister, Amit Shah, the Home Minister, and Mayawati, the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and former CM of Uttar Pradesh, among other individuals.

Heeraben Modi, NaMo’s mother was born and brought up in Gujrat, Mehsana, Vadnaga, born on 18 June 1923. She was the mother to one daughter and 5 sons. Narendra Modi, our Prime minister is her third child of 6 kids. Heeraben Modi before her demise was staying with Pankaj Modi, NaMo’s younger brother near Gandhinagar at Raysan village.
