Parthala Bridge that connects Noida-Greater Noida to open soon

Noida’s latest development, Parthala Bridge is almost complete with 95% of the work done. It will connect Greater Noida and Noida. It is being stated that the traffic will be traversed to the new bridge in the next few weeks. The local authority has even put its name on the bridge. It sort of resembles the infamous Mumbai’s Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The Noida authority aims to link the two cities while highlighting the tricolour lighting that is installed on the bridge to make it look attractive.

Talking about the bridge, Parthala Bridge is made with a cable suspension at the Parthala roundabout. It is expected to be open to the public by April 2023. A 207-meter-long ramp will be constructed towards Greater Noida is under process. This will be similar to the 287-meter ramp in Noida. It will feature three pillars, 220 grinders along with a section suspended by 28 cables. With the upcoming bridge, a commuter can reach their destination in just 30-40 minutes thus saving a lot of time. The work for the Bridge began in 2020 December but initially, it faced a lot of issues. It was supposed to be completed by 2022, however, it missed its deadline. Now, the concerned officials are aiming to officially complete the task within this month and open it to the public in the next month. 

Additionally, a similar bridge named Signature Bridge is also under the works. This will connect Ghaziabad, Hapur and Delhi. It will decrease traffic congestion and thus be beneficial to hundreds of public that had to travel between the cities for work. It will be constructed from the Parthala roundabout connecting to Sector- 72,74,73,77,76,51,61,51,75,122 as well as Kisan Chowk.
