According to media reports, PM Modi will also hold talks with farmers from six states during the program. During this time, he will also share his experiences on the initiative launched by the government for farmer welfare. Agriculture Minister will also be present in the program. Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar told reporters that the Modi government is committed to the welfare and empowerment of farmers. The government has continuously improved the social and economic condition of the farmers and this process will continue further.

Tomar said that Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi is also part of this process. Under this, on December 25, the Good Governance Day of the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, 1800 crore will be directly transferred to the bank account within nine hours to nine crore farmers.

According to the information received from the PMO, on December 25, PM Modi will release the next installment of financial benefit in the program organized through video conferencing at 12 noon. At the press of the Prime Minister’s button, 18 thousand crore rupees will be transferred to the account of nine crore profitable farmers.

On the question of farmer movement on the Delhi border, Tomar said that the problems of farmers will be resolved soon. The government is ready for discussion with anyone. Any law or policy is formulated based on the suggestions of farmers, organizations, experts, and other stakeholders. It is constantly improving. The government has sent a proposal to the kisan organizations and is awaiting their response. Farmers’ organizations will communicate with them whenever and wherever they decide to negotiate.
