Farmers protesting against the three new agricultural laws of the Center will celebrate ‘Kisan Mazdoor Azadi Sangram Diwas’ on Independence Day and will take out a Tiranga Rally across the country.
The United Kisan Morcha issued a statement saying that on August 15, farmers and labourers will take out a Tiranga Rally in the block, tehsil, district headquarters or till their nearest Kisan Morcha or dharna.
The Rally will be carried out with the national flag on cycles, motorcycles, tractors etc., the statement said.
It is noteworthy that farmers have been running their Parliament at Jantar Mantar since the beginning of the monsoon session to demand the withdrawal of agricultural laws. The Kisan Sansad will continue till August 13.
