The BJP on Wednesday alleged that during the tractor parade organized by farmers’ organizations on Republic Day, Congress incited farmers to violence. The party also alleged that those who were defeated in the elections are trying to gather and spoil the atmosphere of the country.

Referring to the uncontrolled tractor parade organized by farmers’ organizations a day before and during the violence, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that India will never tolerate the insult of its tricolor on the Red Fort. He alleged that Congress always tried to provoke the farmers’ movement.

Javadekar said that the opposition party cannot run away from its responsibility as it is in power in Punjab. He said that Rahul Gandhi was not only constantly supporting but also provoking. He did the same with the amended citizenship law. They provoke them to come on the road and from the second day, the movement on the road starts.

The BJP leader, while referring to the tweet made by some Congress leaders, said that through this he appreciated the tractor rally of farmers.

He said that the Congress government deliberately instigated the farmers, tweets of yesterday’s Youth Congress and Congress related institutions are also proof.

He said that the Congress is desperate and disappointed, losing in the election, the communists are in the same condition. That is why we are looking for a new friendship relationship in West Bengal. The Congress somehow wants to spread unrest in the country.

Javadekar said that the government-held constant discussions with the farmers and even showed readiness to postpone 3 agricultural laws for a year and a half and tried to give an alternative to the farmers. He said that this Congress also understands but it does not want to let the compromise happen. “
The BJP leader strongly praised the Delhi Police’s stance during the farmers’ agitation and said that he showed great tolerance during the farmers’ parade on Tuesday, while all kinds of attacks were carried out on behalf of farmers’ organizations.
