Redmi A2 and A2+ With 5,000mAh Battery, MediaTek Helio G36 SoC Launched In India

In case you don’t know, the Redmi A2 and A2+ have been launched in the European market as a part of the Redmi A1 series. The latest mobile is equipped with MediaTek Helio G36 SoC. Both have made their debut as entry-level handsets. Additionally, the newly launched smartphones are also listed on Xiaomi’s global website. However, the prices, as well as the availability of smartphones, have not been announced yet. Both handsets will be sold in three color options: Light Blue, Black, and Light Green.

The Redmi A2 has a 5-megapixel selfie camera and an 8-megapixel primary camera. Plus, the mobile is equipped with a powerful 5,000mAh battery.

The latest smartphones Redmi A2 and A2+ have been launched for entry-level smartphones. The RAM storage is available in 3GB+32GB RAM and 2GB++32GB  options. 

Redmi A2 and A2+ Specifications

The latest launched Redmi A2 and A2+ will run on Android 12 (Go edition) and will feature a 6.52-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) with an LCD screen, a 20:9 aspect screen ratio, and a top-quality selfie camera. As stated earlier, smartphones are powered by MediaTek Helio G36 SoC with 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB of EMMC 5.1 storage. As for optics, both smartphones have an 8-megapixel primary sensor, LED flash at the back, and QVGA lens. In the front, the selfie camera is of 5-megapixel. 

The latest Redmi A2 series has 10W fast charging support with a powerful 5,000mAh battery. Talking about connectivity, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 4G, Dual-SIM, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5 mm audio jack, GLONASS, Galileo, and USB type-C port for charging. The weight of the phone is 192 grams, 64.9 × 76.75 × 9.09mm.
