RRB NTPC CBT-2 Exam 2022 in May: New Date To Be Announced Soon, Other Important Announcements

Regarding the settlement of the dispute over the RRB NTPC and Group D exam results, the Railway Recruitment Board has accepted the demands of the candidates and said it will release revised results in April.

Along with this, the board also released a notification on their website about the CBT 2 exam. The Computer Based Test for Pay Level 6, CBT-2 will take place in May 2022.

According to the notification, the board will soon announce when the RRB NTPC CBT-2 Exam for other pay levels will take place in May.

Let us tell you, the pay scale for Level 6 posts starts from Rs 35,400. Recruitment will be done for Commercial Apprentice and Station Master under this pay level.

CBT-2 Exam Pattern

According to the official website, rrbcdg.gov.in. The RRB NTPC CBT-2 Exam 2022 will last for 1.5 hours. There will be 120 questions, all of which are multiple-choice questions. Each question is worth one point. There is also a negative marking system; 0.33 points will be deducted for each wrong answer. General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning topics will be covered in the exam.

Cut-off Process

In order to clear the CBT 2 exam, candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks. The ones who qualify the cutoff marks will be chosen for the next round.

How many Posts will be Recruited?

7,124 vacancies will be recruited for Pay Level 6. 1.42 lakh candidates were selected for the CBT-II exam. The recruitment of eligible candidates will be decided on the basis of merit and reservation policies. Selected candidates will have to attend the document verification process before they are hired. The final list of shortlisted candidates will be released by the first week of April.
