The Married Woman on ALT Balaji: A new take on the same-sex love story

The Married woman is a new take on the LGBTQ love story. It shows a special loving bond between two women. The series is directed by Sahir Raza and is created by Ekta Kapoor. The Plot of “The Married Woman”

The story takes place in the early 1990s about a school teacher astha belonging to a regular middle-class family. A dedicated mother, wife and daughter but she always feels unsatisfied with her life and doesn’t know where her life was heading. One day she meets Deepika and starts her journey towards self-discovery. The series revolves around the relationship between these two women and their bond. On one hand, there is a dedicated, simple and sober wife while on the other hand, there is a free-spirited, fearless and independent girl who doesn’t feel hesitant to accept her feelings.
