The cases of COVID in India are once again witnessing a rapid increase. On 18 March, 35 thousand cases of COVID were reported in the country. For the first time in 2021, daily cases of coronavirus have gone above 30 thousand. In the last 24 hours, 35,871 cases of Kovid and 172 deaths were recorded in the country. At the same time, 20 to 25 thousand cases were coming out in the last few days.

According to the Health Ministry data, so far 3.71 crore people have been given the COVID vaccine.

PM Modi’s meeting with CM

Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with the Chief Ministers of the states on Wednesday about the rising figures of COVID in the country. The PM said in the meeting that there is a need to rein in the second peak of the emerging epidemic. The PM also suggested creating micro containment zones in areas with increasing cases.
