Agra, March 25 (IANS). UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed serious condolences on the death of the sub-inspector posted on duty and announced Rs 50 lakh for the road to be built in the name of Shaheed Prashant Yadav and to provide jobs to his dependents.
Yadav, who went to settle a dispute with his team in Nahargaon, under Khadouli, UP, was shot by miscreants.
Yadav was shot in the neck on Wednesday evening. Two police constables were with him at the time of the incident. After carrying out the incident, the attackers fled from there.
IG Satish Ganesh has said that there was a crop dispute between the two brothers and a police team was there to resolve it. Senior police officers have reached the spot and further investigations are on.
