Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB / UPPBPB) has issued notification of 9,534 vacancies of Sub-Inspector (SI) in UP Police. educational qualification:

For the post of Platoon Commander in SI and PAC in Civil Police – Candidates applying for these posts should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university / institute.

For Firefighting Second Officer – Candidates should be Graduates in Science for this post.

Age Range

The age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 28 years. Candidates were born before 1 July 1993 and not later than 1 July 2000. Uttar Pradesh reserved category- SC, ST, OBC candidates will be given a relaxation of 5 to 5 years in the age limit.

UP Police Inspector Salary

Candidates will be selected after clearing the written examination and physical test. The pay scale of the policeman in the UP Police is 9300- 34800. With this, 4200 rupees are available as grade pay. Along with salary, dearness allowance and house rent allowance (DA and HRA) etc. are available. It is calculated according to the basic salary. DA constitutes 12 percent of basic salary. While house rent allowance is 24 percent of the basic salary. Out of the total salary, there are several deductions including tax and PF. Apart from this, different investments and savings by each employee make a difference in salary.

UP Police officer recruitment physical criteria height

1. Minimum height of general, OBC and SC category candidates should be 168 cm.
2. The height of ST category candidates should be 160 cm.

Height for women

1. For women candidates of general, OBC and SC category, the minimum height should be 152 cm.
2. The minimum height for women candidates of ST category should be 147 cm

weight

It is compulsory for all women candidates to have a weight of at least 40 kg.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, physical efficiency test, medical test. The written examination will be of 400 marks. This exam will be conducted in online mode i.e. CBT format. A time of 2 hours has been fixed for this. There will be four parts in the paper, each part will be of 100 -100 marks.
